Hi all. I was able to grab a nice moon ballet going on Jupiter last night among unbelievable difficulties!
Too bad so many negative circumstances prevented me to grab any color image!

Hi all. Find here a couple of images recorded on August 8 and 9 under mediocre conditions.
Nothing of relevant to report.
Hi all, a new Jupiter session was grabbed through the IR band only due to the very short spell of good seeing happened last night.
When switching to the RGB setup, the seeing unexpectedly falled to very poor.
JUPITER AUG. 7
The BA oval (Red Spot Jr) left the CM, please note the nice activity all way around the south polar region.

Hi all! On August 1st I catched one among my best ever night on Jupiter despite its ridicoulous 31 degs above the horizon!
These images are coming out of Apuanian Alps, elevation 1200 meters above sea level, where transparency was also excellent.
Visually, the impact scar was still obvious (!) as a dark segment parallel to the SPC.
The same happened in the visual band (RGB) where the scar is still very prominent respect to the IR, but you can see here a defragmentation into 3 parts probably due to the interaction with a local oval.
Wish I could get some more night as the last one…

Hi all, Find here below a new set of images taken in the near IR under a thick sea fog (!) causing a very poor transparency.
Seeing was fair with some nice steadyness through the passing clouds.
Find here a 140% rescaled version of the last shot:
Nothing much to say about this Jupiter face.
