A wide Rupes Altai
Hi all,
On Oct. 10-12 I had a trip on the marvellous southern Tuscany (Maremma)
and I was accomodated in a beatiful villa located at the top of an hill!
Look at here: http://www.villatatti.it/home.htm
They even care of astro amateurs(!) so I brought my scope with myself to
take some lunar pics.
I hotly suggest to book there if you plan a visit on Tuscany!
Of course, it was everything beatiful but the seeing…
Ok, nothing new to hear from me.
Find here a wide shot of the Rupes Altai taken in very variable
conditions and high clouds rolling on. I attach an image where you can
see both the best and the worst frames to make your evaluation even
clearer. Most of the frames did match with the worst one, only 100 out
of 2000 were matching the best one! ![]()
The glowing Sun (4 to 5 degrees above the horizon) made the situation
definitively critical.
